This Chapel Royal is evidently quite special to the royal family as it was also the location where Prince George's christening was held-Princess Charlotte was baptised at the Church of St Mary Magdalene.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have announced that Prince Louis will be christened on Monday July 9.

Details of Prince Louis' christening have been announced by Kensington Palace.

The chapel is steeped in royal history.

"The Duke and Duchess would like to thank members of the public for their kind messages following the birth of Prince Louis, and for Princess Charlotte's third birthday".

Weighing 8lb 7oz, Prince Louis, who already has older siblings Princess Charlotte and Prince George, was shot to worldwide superstardom when his proud parents showed him to the world just hours after his birth.

On the maternal side, Kate's parents Carole and Michael Middleton, her younger brother James and her younger sister Pippa, who is pregnant with her first child, will be present.

Louis, the fifth in line to the British throne, will be christened by the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby.
