Whitney Houston's ex-husband Bobby Brown has claimed he is "just the person" to slap Kanye West after the rapper chose to use an image of Houston's bathroom for an album cover. Music president Pusha-T hyped up Ye's new album. West reportedly shelled out $85,000 to license it, according to Rolling Stone.
Brown, who was married to Houston from 1992 to 2007, said, "Something should happen to Kanye. I know him as an artist". Now he's pushing the bar a little bit.
Brown continued, "He needs somebody to slap him up or something". The album has only seven tracks and clocks in at just over 23 minutes in length, making it West's shortest album yet.
In 2012, Houston's body was discovered in a bathtub. West said she could leave, but she wouldn't.
As for those who thought Whitney wrote Brown off after the Enquirer story in 2006, she claims, "Throughout that chaotic time and until her death, Whitney and I remained the best of friends and sisters".
NY rap veteran Nas and Pusha-T agree on the same thing - Ye is fire.
"Not to be divisive, but I'm of a different mindset when it comes to situations like this", Gary Michael Houston, the son of Houston's older brother Michael, said in a statement.
"I like the word "imprisoned" because slavery goes too directly to the idea of blacks ... so prison is something that unites us as one race". We picked what we picked. You can pre-order Bigger now, and hopefully get ready for many more records from the country duo in the future.
