Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert won the NBA's Defensive Player of the Year award, beating out Anthony Davis of the Pelicans and Joel Embiid of the 76ers. The 28-year-old finished second to Russell Westbrook last season.
The Houston Rockets star was voted the NBA's Most Valuable Player after twice being runner-up, beating out four-time victor LeBron James and Anthony Davis of the Pelicans at the NBA Awards on Monday night.
