"At the time I never thought I'd be able to tell anyone", Bass continued, "because not only was I terrified of the lasting rejection-I was certain that would happen-but more than that, I didn't want to jeopardize the careers of these guys up here, much less the hundreds of fantastic people who worked tirelessly to bring *NSYNC to the world".
NSYNC fans camped out overnight in Hollywood to urge the boy band to reunite at their Walk of Fame induction on Monday, April 30. As the band was introduced, Hollywood Chamber of Commerce President Leron Gubler declared Monday as *NSYNC Day in Hollywood.
Fatone joked that the reason they were getting the star on April 30 was because "It's gonna be May", a nod to "It's gonna be me".

Justin Timberlake stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show for Tuesday's episode, and the musician was joined by *NSYNC bandmates Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass, and JC Chasez for a game of "Never Have I Ever", where the group revealed plenty of juicy details about their early days of fame.
This is the first time all five members have been in the same place since the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards where they performed some of their biggest songs in honor of Justin winning the Video Vanguard award that year.
Bass then paid tribute to his "gorgeous" husband Michael and thanked his "LGBT brothers and sisters, who have embraced me" after confessing he felt bad about having to keep his sexuality a secret during *NSYNC's heyday because "I didn't want to jeopardise the careers of these guys". Lance Bass thanked his LGBTQ fans for supporting him when he came out.
NSYNC formed in 1995 and have sold more than 40 million records worldwide.
