Let's not forget, the NBA suspended former Muslim player Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf for one game and fined him $32,000 way back in 1996 for refusing to come out and stand for the national anthem. But it's hard to say that he passed either test.
It's upon Kerr to find a way to mesh the Warriors' offense, which now looks like it's in a battle with itself over what it wants to be.
The Warriors simply never slipped into a rhythm and were far less reliant on their trademark movement and crisp passing game.
"I think (if you) guessed what the final score would be between the Rockets and Warriors, and neither team getting to 100 two straight games, don't know what the odds (would be) on that", he said.
The Rockets held the Warriors to a.167 field-goal percentage in the 4th quarter in Game 4, the lowest for Golden State in any playoff period during its 6-year playoff streak.
Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr is a hypocrite and should be called out on it.
"I feel great about where we are right now", Kerr told reporters at the end of the game, according to ESPN. They're doing what we do. Last I checked, he remains the most popular and the most marketable sports star in America. That's why you do it. Everybody's saying why aren't you guys moving the ball? The right breaks have gone against them.
This marks the first time since acquiring Kevin Durant last summer that the Warriors faced a playoff elimination game.
But there's a reason the original tweet that TNT's account put out about Durant talking to Kerr was deleted. "That's part of the game".
But there's also little doubt that Kerr and the Warriors find themselves in one now. They said he took a dribble.
This slowed-down pace has disrupted the Warriors, whose 72 shot attempts Thursday night were their lowest of the season.
