The OnePlus 6 is one of the most anticipated smartphones at the present moment because of some incredible features it is expected to bring on board. The dedicated launch page for the company's upcoming flagship mentions the name of the smartphone, launch date and the address for the event.

Following several teasers for its upcoming flagship, OnePlus has officially announced that it will be launching the OnePlus 6 on May 16 in London.

Last week, Amazon India began allowing customers to register for the OnePlus 6. Lau published a lengthy blog post explaining the decision behind the change in design.

OnePlus 6's glass design is centred around creating a "sense of value" and "premium hand-feel". However, like it did with the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T, the 6 will also, eventually, make its way to offline stores as OnePlus is now trying to capture a market that strays away from shopping online. The OnePlus Community at the event will be the first in the world to try out the OnePlus 6, across a range of experience zones combining style with power.

One thing that remains very much up in the air is how much the OnePlus 6 will cost. Stay tuned for the official news at as we will probably be watching the live stream on the day. In October past year, a report pointed out that the upcoming OnePlus 6 will sport an all-new design.

OnePlus 6 will come with the Snapdragon 845 SoC. In addition, all fans who attend the launch event will get a gift hamper full of super add-ons and exclusive Marvel Avengers merchandise.

The smartphone is further expected feature a 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2,280×1,080 pixels, resulting in the aspect ratio of 19:9. It includes 6/8GB of RAM and comes with 64, 128 and 256GB of internal storage. Based on camera samples, we can easily predict that OnePlus 6 will sport a dual-camera setup on the back, enabling richer portrait-mode photos and superior results in bright daylight conditions.
