Fortnite Battle Royale Gets A New Timed Mode

When is Fortnite mobile coming out on Android?

Despite being invite-only and iOS-exclusive, Fortnite already dominates the charts

Currently, Fortnite mobile is only available for iOS devices AND by invitation only.

Ben Lewis-Evans, a user experience lead researcher at Epic Games who works on Fortnite, told Polygon that the team rolled out Fortnite with friendly fire on. App data tracker SensorTower calculates that Fortnite Mobile has made in excess of $1.5 million in less than a week.

The recently launched mobile version of the battle royale game is now the number two highest grossing game on iOS, amounting to $1.5 million in in-app purchases since the game launched worldwide last week.

Fortnite on mobile has become such as huge success very quickly, but that's without the game releasing on Android. Because of the item fullness, you will be more than ready to fight, and the materials you get are only multiplied by 2, which means you get double the materials.

When you are invited, you will receive an email with a link to download the game from the App Store.

According to Epic Games, the match length in Blitz will be a maximum of 15 minutes, meaning there's going to be a lot of fighting going on and a very fast storm.

That's why the new Blitz mode connects to those enjoying the game on mobile. The Fortnite announcement only states that it is a "limited-time" mode. This one is actually more preferable because you actually don't need to focus entirely on the game, unlike the traditional "Battle Royale". They chose to disable it after receiving multiple reports from players that they were being killed by their own teammates so other players could pick up dropped items.
