Ben Woodburn and Harry Wilson named in Wales squad

Aaron Ramsey out of Wales Squad with Hamstring Injury, Will Play for Arsenal

Rangers star Declan John called up to Ryan Giggs' Wales squad after impressing following switch from Cardiff

"He will have a small procedure, but it is the ideal time to get that done".

Gareth Bale is in the squad along with uncapped Brentford defender Chris Mepham and Connor Roberts, Billy Bodin and Michael Crowe receive first calls.

Danny Ward is not among the goalkeepers due to "administrative problems with the passport and his visa", while Ashley Williams will retain the captaincy.

In addition to Ramsey, squad regular Hal Robson-Kanu is also absent, as is Sheffield United winger David Brooks, who is not risked as he recovers from glandular fever.

"It's an important stage of the season where players and teams are going for promotion, fighting against relegation, and I want them to come away".

Wales are set to travel to the China Cup to face China and one of Uruguay and the Czech Republic. Everyone who I've brought in were my first choice, ' Giggs said.

The Manchester United legend has been quoted as saying that the 26-year-old left-back wants to concentrate on Newcastle for now, and that he did not feel it was the right time to get back into the Wales national set-up.

Williams, 33, was appointed Wales skipper by Coleman in October 2012, leading the side during their historic run to the Euro 2016 semi-finals.

Crowe, who has yet to make his senior debut for Ipswich, has been on the bench for the Blues since Dean Gerken's season-ending hip injury.

"Ashley is still the captain, I don't see any reason to change", added Giggs.

"There's no reason to change".

"He's got a game just like most of the players at the weekend so we're constantly monitoring the players injury wise".

"Obviously he is getting on in his career, so that's something I will have to look at in the near future".
