While Muruganantham challenged the cast and crew of his biopic, Twinkle Khanna tagged Aamir Khan who was glad to take it up.

The challenge comes close on the heels of the release of Padman, a film revolving around menstrual cycles.

"Thank you Twinkle Khanna".

She ask everyone to post a picture holding a pad with a message that reads, "Yes, that's a Pad in my hand & there's nothing to be ashamed about".

Many actress took part in this challenge, Alia Bhatt, Sonam kapoor, Radhika Apte along with many Bollywood stars took part and challenged many people. Twinkle Khanna's trio - Aamir Khan, Shabana Azmi and Harsh Goenka - has completed the challenge and further tagged their colleagues.

The 'PadMan Challenge' was conceived by Arunachalam Murugunantham, the inventor of low-priced sanitary pad making machine.

And, within minutes of posting on the social media, people came pouring in with mixed reactions on the rather aggressive and huge challenge, especially for men.

Directed by R Balki, "PadMan" will hit the theatres on February 9, and clash with Sidharth Malhotra-starrer "Aiyaary" at the box office. We wonder which celebrity will join the PadMan challenge bandwagon next.

The challenge was started by Arunachalam Muruganantham, the man on whom the film is based.

Aamir Khan who is now dawning the "Thugs of Hindustan" look, took to social media and shared a picture completing the "Pad Man" challenge on Friday. The PadMan challenge is trending very fast.
