McKenna, from Scituate, Massachusetts, was already living his dream, attending the Super Bowl to cheer on his beloved New England Patriots.

Ryan's dad his surprised him with Super Bowl tickets two weeks before the championship game. "So basically, I knew that I wanted to end the performance with "Can't Stop the Feeling" just because I how people respond to that song", he said.

The former *NSYNC member came on the line and greeted the teen, who was then noticeably overcome with emotion.

"The lady told us we were in a good section, but we didn't know Justin would be there", he said. "But we had no idea Justin was going to be there".

McKenna made his way down to Timberlake a few rows down. "I pushed through", he said.

Memes emerged of Ryan struggling with his phone, but he explained that he was trying to switch to video. "So it just shut off, and that's why all the memes formed".

McKenna was overwhelmed by the gesture and said: "Thank you so much!" I'm sure he will send you money and do all kinds of things.

Timberlake said, "I'll tell you what I want to do: Because it was so unexpected that you came down, and because all of this has happened, I thought to myself, 'I really want to meet you properly.'" The singer went on to say, "I'm going to be coming to TD Garden on tour to play in Boston".

As Ellen presented Ryan with four tickets to one of the April shows, he sat open-mouthed as the camera panned to his family in the audience and showed his father also in tears.

"It's nice to meet you finally", he told McKenna on the phone.

McKenna and his family also received a gift basket from the New England Patriots and the National Football League, which included game tickets, field passes and some team gear.
