Many have speculated that Justin Timberlake might share a reunion with his former *NSYNC bandmates during the 2018 Super Bowl halftime show, but the singer has ruled that out.

The superstar, who is gearing up for his big halftime performance at the Super Bowl this weekend, snuck in through the back entrance of the Target store at St. Paul's Midway to record a short video posted on his Instagram this afternoon.

The singer dropped his new album Man Of The Woods today, and also delivered a press conference about his highly-awaited set on Sunday night. Timberlake then crosses a canyon on a felled tree, jaunts past some campsites, and eventually reaches his destination, where he finds his lady (his real-life wife Jessica Biel) and enjoys a romantic dance with her before the two walk off into the woods arm-in-arm.

There's been plenty of speculation on whether Timberlake will bring out any special guests, and if so, who he'll choose.

As for Prince, Timberlake called him "the greatest all-around musician I can think of in popular culture (and) a huge influence on me". While fans believed that a special guest was inevitable for the performance, JT told reporters that there will not be a high-profile accompany. He asked Timberlake if the Super Bowl's star celebrity attraction would want his son Silas to play football someday.

"Right now, we are just working on our manners", the singer said.

The Super Bowl between the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles comes amid rising controversies around American football.

What are the top five Super Bowl halftime shows, and will Justin Timberlake beat them all this Sunday?

"I mean, yeah, it's kind of like that thing where my main objective is that he become a great person".

In the video below, Janet finally addresses the Super Bowl incident seen 'round the world, which Oprah said was the "first and the last time that she ever talks about what happened that day".

In the fall, Timberlake said he wanted to get Michaels to shake his booty (and launched a hashtag to prove it).

While he remained glib about the show, Timberlake did say you can expect "Can't Stop the Feeling" to be part of the show, and also hinted at a theme of unity.
