A video Allie posted on her Facebook of her busking on Grafton Street singing Ed Sheeran's "Supermarket Flowers" went viral in June a year ago.

"That was pretty incredible because I absolutely love her show and she was just so nice and friendly, and I was really nervous and during the break she was saying me to calm down and she was just so nice about it which made everything much easier", she says.

The Cork native performed a rendition of Adele's "A Million Years Ago" on the hit USA chat show yesterday and even got a standing ovation.

Cork's most famous busker has swapped Patrick's St for California and made an appearance on one of the highest-profile TV shows in the world - The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "I'm not looking forward to retiring because I love doing this", she added. But I would like to be a singer.


Appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres show, the actor revealed that at the start of their decades-strong friendship, she thought that Ellen just had "lots of lovely roommates", and would often come to visit from her house the street over in Los Angeles.

Obama gave her final interview as first lady to Oprah Winfrey which aired on CBS and OWN.

"I was always the kid who was going around the house singing".

Irish singers, Glenn Murphy and Ronan Scolard, also appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to perform their viral Adele mash-up.
