Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Monday said while addressing AJK Legislative Assembly that Kashmiris are not alone, 200 million Pakistanis stand by them.
Khawaja Asif said now the time had come for the worldwide community to wake up and put pressure on India to give the fundamental right of plebiscite to the oppressed Kashmiri people.
The prime minister said there might be differences among the political leaders but on the Kashmir issue, all the leadership was united and there were no two opinions.
He said the Indian army had miserably failed to crush the Kashmiris' struggle for independence as they were writing a new chapter of their freedom movement with every passing day. President Mamnoon Hussain, meanwhile, reiterated Pakistan's political, moral and diplomatic support for Kashmir's "struggle for freedom".
Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has said that Kashmir issue was not just a territorial dispute but a question of people's inherent right to self-determination.
He said that the Kashmir government should remain focused on providing better governance and raising the Kashmir cause at worldwide fora.
The people of Pakistan, he said, felt the pains and sufferings of the Kashmir people in IHK, who had been facing the illegal subjugation of the Indian rule for the last 70 years, and extended their whole-hearted support to the Kashmiri leadership.
They are always trying to divide India or trying to create havoc in our country.
He remarked that forceful occupation of Kashmir was against the modern norms of nation state and people's basic right to self-determination - the right to form government as per people's aspirations free from foreign interference.
The Prime Minister said the federal government will extend all possible support for the development of the PaK. Nawaz Sharif is my leader.
