In addition to the limited-edition controller, Capcom has announced a pair of Monster Hunter World PS4 bundles, which will likewise launch alongside the game later this month.
And finally, Capcom has offered a tease at what players can expect post-launch content to look like. One, named Dodogama, has a unique saliva that causes rock to become explosive.
Monster Hunter: World introduces a living, breathing ecosystem in which players take on the role of a hunter that seeks and slays ferocious beasts in heart-pounding battles that unfold across the vast ever-changing terrain.
Monster Hunter: World comes to PS4 and Xbox One in January 26, 2018, with a PC release to follow in Fall 2018. The PC release, as we learned just a couple of days ago, is not due until autumn this year. I hear you cry well Capcom has also outlined their plans to keep up with major updates, the first of which will be arriving Spring 2018.
This beta will be largely the same as the last ones, but features one new quest - a chance to fight the Elder Dragon, Nergigante - which was previously available at PlayStation Experience. Diners will be able to wash their hearty meals down with a complimentary drink, as well as getting hands-on with a demo of Monster Hunter: World, with in-built gaming consoles at each table.
