Hoosier Schools Among 'Best Online MBA Programs'

In new rankings released today by U.S. News and World Report, Indiana University's Kelley School of Business is among the nation's leaders in online graduate business education.

Western Illinois University has again been recognized by the U.S.News & World Report for offering some of the best online degree programs. Through these flexible course schedules, students have access to 14 undergraduate degrees and six certificate programs, as well as 40 graduates degrees and seven graduate certificate programs.

The School of Nursing's online bachelor's degree program (RN-BS), which admitted its first class in 2012-13, was ranked No. 60 in the Best Online Bachelor's Programs rankings. Temple - Fox is followed by the Online MBA programs from Carnegie Mellon University (Tepper) and IU Kelley, which are tied for second place.

Data is gathered by a statistical survey and analyzed based on student services and technology, peer reputation, student engagement, faculty credentials and training and admissions selectivity. Prospective students can use the searchable directory to explore factors such as tuition, program offerings and online services offered to enrolled students.

"The Best Online Programs rankings offer adults the information needed to identify programs that best suit their life and career goals", said Anita Narayan, managing editor of Education at U.S. News.

The University tied for #21 - a significant increase from the U.S. News & World Report's 2017 ranking that tied it at #47.

During the fall 2017 semester, IU's online programs saw a record-breaking 5,066 students enrolled, almost doubling over the past four years.

In the previous year, UMSL's online programs have also received national attention from publications across the country. "Post's U.S. News Best Online Program rankings add yet another layer of distinction to our online education leadership across CT and the Northeast, as well as provide value for students seeking a program that meets their academic and career goals along with their personal schedule".

Kroll added that GSE faculty work together with online students and engage in original online education research, continually incorporating their latest findings into their teaching practices. Categories include bachelor's programs and graduate programs in business, information technology, criminal justice, education, engineering and nursing. Students in FAU's School of Accounting Executive Programs can stream lectures live over the Internet to their computer or mobile device, or they can watch the lectures at any time during the week. The college also offers an online master of science in Health Promotion created to develop skills and competencies to effectively assess, design, implement and evaluate health promotion programs. Online Bachelor's of Arts are offered in psychology and social science.
