Fincher, who also directed four episodes, has his other hit Netflix series, "House of Cards", on hiatus since the revelations of star Kevin Spacey's inappropriate behavoir.
The show, which was created by Joe Penhall with David Fincher and Charlize Theron on board as producers, is based on the true crime book Mindhunter: Inside the FBI's Elite Serial Crime Unit by John E. Douglas and Mark Olshaker. The first season is now streaming on Netflix, following the October premiere. Season one debuted October 13.
