Destiny 2's first expansion is due out later today. When is Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris out? With Update 1.1.0 for Destiny there will be both gameplay changes for everyone to explore, and new content for those who've opted to purchase the expansion for the game. That's on top of the $59.99 a standard copy of the game costs.

These upgrades add new stories to experience, new character upgrades to earn and new maps for multiplayer.

On Mercury, a planet not yet visited in Destiny 2, the Vex (bad guys, to put it simply, but the Destiny 2 lore can get complicated in these things, especially when you go into the ethics of robots) have opened up a portal that stretches across time.

It could be a bad idea to buy the Destiny 2 Expansion Pass today too. For those hoping for a new Raid, you are in luck as the expansion adds the game's first Riad Lair, Eater of Worlds. If you already own the game, you can pick up the latest update with all of these improvements now.

Use these reasons to decide if buying the Destiny 2 Expansion Pass today is the right move for you. Fortunately, the Power level you'll be required to reach is completely within reach even for casual Destiny 2 players. At 10AM PT, presumably when the downtime is over, you can actually play it.

After the installation of Curse of Osiris, Destiny 2 will take up 44 GB of storage on PS4 and Xbox One and 68 GB on PC.
