Jodie Whittaker's costume as the 13th Doctor contains a few shout-outs to the past.

In Doctor Who, the rules of regeneration dictate that only the Time Lord's body changes, and not the outfit.

I honestly can't stop staring at the photo: She looks like she's about to step out of whatever magical hilltop she's on and into my office, hopefully to become my new best friend.

Once the dust settled, many immediately began to wonder: what would the Thirteenth Doctor wear?

There appear to be references to previous incarnations of the Time Lord in the outfit.

"[The First Doctor] goes into the Twelfth Doctor's Tardis and says 'it's a bit dusty around here, it's in an bad state isn't it?" They are named Graham, Ryan and Yasmin, and are played by Bradley Walsh, Tosin Cole and Mandip Gill respectively.
