Despite the Irishman been comprehensively beaten inside the distance by Floyd Mayweather back in August.
Three weeks after referee Marc Goddard objected an obnoxious McGregor from his cageside perch in Gdansk, Poland, while cheering on teammate Artem Lobov at a UFC Fight Night card, "The Notorious" attempted a return confrontation.
As McGregor was not permitted to step into the ring since he was not a licensed corner man for Ward, several fight officials stepped in to interrupt the celebration.
Goddard, who reportedly has a history with McGregor, apparently angered McGregor with his attempts to clear up the ring.
McGregor then had to be restrained before he was escorted out and left the cage on his own.
This time, it got physical.
Later on after his incident with Goddard, McGregor was then seen appearing to slap Bellator staff member Mike Johnson, who tried to stop him re-entering the cage. Bellator released a statement about the altercation: "We're aware of the in-cage altercation involving Conor McGregor and a Bellator staff member". Walking around the cage side wherever and whenever he wanted.
UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor is making headlines again and it isn't a good thing.
"Viacom and Bellator hold the safety and well-being of our staff in the highest regard and we're now reviewing the situation". You don't ever, ever (expletive) touch a referee, ever. "Act professional", Goddard could be heard telling McGregor.
