Trump Family Friend: Melania Trump Never Wanted To Be First Lady

Melania Trump set to unveil White House Christmas decorations

Melania Trump never wanted to be First Lady, report says

Stephanie Grisham, the Director of Communications for Melania Trump, took to Twitter to share a picture of the White House's Christmas decorations for the year, although, something tells us she wasn't expecting the reaction her photo was met with.

Melania had also grown exhausted of his dithering about whether to get involved in politics, a longtime Trump advisor told the magazine.

"He always wanted to run".

New this year are wreaths hanging from the exterior of every window.

Longtime Trump adviser Roger Stone told the magazine Melania made clear a presidential run was "not her thing" but pushed her husband to run because she knew he was "going to be unhappy if he didn't".

The official theme this year is "Time-Honored Traditions", meant to pay homage to over 200 years of White House holiday celebrations.

'She's lovely, like an angel!' one young boy remarked, as the first lady - who's cream-colored belted dress with bell sleeves could have been worn by a tree topper - walked into the East Room to help a group of kids make garland.

Vanity Fair said that Melania's friends are divided on how she feels about her husband, who has been accused by multiple women of sexual harassment or assault.

Melania Trump came out swinging, tearing into the "liberal" media for an article published Sunday evening by Vanity Fair claiming that she never wanted to be first lady.

"I think he's missing a little bit of his old life", she said on The Ray D'Arcy Show Saturday.

The grand foyer of the State Floor has a tribute to the very first themed White House Christmas, "Nutcracker Suite", started by Jacqueline Kennedy in 1961.

Donald Trump didn't appear in the clip.

Born in Slovenia, when it was part of Yugoslavia, Melania Trump is the first First Lady to be born overseas since Louisa Adams in 1825.

If I'm president, you're going to see "merry Christmas" in department stores, believe me.
