Portia de Rossi said on Wednesday she had an uncomfortable encounter with Steven Seagal during an office audition, making her the second actress to accuse the actor of sexual misconduct in the last week.
Following Portia's statement, Ellen Degeneres tweeted "I'm proud of my wife". As the culture shifts and more people are feeling emboldened to speak out about alleged bad behavior, a flood of names has joined that list-including, now, Steven Seagal. "I got out of there unscathed", she said.
U.S. action movie actor Steven Seagal was the latest Hollywood man in the crosshairs of mounting sexual misconduct allegations on Thursday, following the downfall of Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey. The then ran from the office and called her agent, who apparently seemed aware of what might happen. "He told me how important it was to have chemistry off=screen as he sat me down and unzipped his leather trousers".

I lived in Brooklyn, and I said, 'Oh, I don't do that". I don't know how I got out of that hotel room. DeGeneres took to Twitter to respond to de Rossi's tweet with a supportive tweet of her own.
"When I read about Harvey Weinstein, the reports of him appearing in a robe triggered me", she says. I do not have money for a cab.' And I did not. "Unfazed, she replied, 'Well, I didn't know if he was your type'". It always starts with "I am a healer".
The latest accusations come just weeks after actresses Lisa Guerrero and Jenny McCarthy both accused Seagal of sexual misconduct. Seagal's lawyer, Marty Singer-who now represents stars like Ratner-denied the claims, calling them "false, fabricated and defamatory".
Mr Seagal's manager told BBC News that the actor had no comment.
