Why Was WWE Star Emma Released? Wrestler Remains Silent

Breaking: WWE Has Come To Terms On The Release Of Emma

WWE Release Emma

In an announcement today the WWE revealed that Emma, Darren Young and Summer Rae are no longer with the company.

Following her release, Emma acknowledged the news on social media.

Most as of late, Emma had a couple of matches with the recently appeared Asuka at the TLC pay-per-see and the next night on Monday Night Raw.

The professional wrestling community was taken aback by news of Summer Rae's release from the WWE, following which the now-former WWE Superstar was probed about it on social media.

He later deleted the comment, but a number of other WWE Superstars voiced their displeasure with him. WWE released Dashwood on July 2, 2014, but reversed their decision hours later. She would have impressive runs in NXT, but often saw her main roster career derailed due to injuries. She defeated Mickie James, competed in a Raw Women's Championship Match at WWE No Mercy, won a fatal 5-way match for the right to square off against the debuting Asuka.

Emma has been in the professional wrestling industry since when she began training back in 2003.

While there have been a few WWE discharges throughout the previous year, including Eva Marie, Austin Aries, Simon Gotch and Jack Swagger, there hasn't been a day with different discharges since May 6, 2016, when Wade Barrett, Damien Sandow, Santino Marella, Alex Riley, Cameron, El Torito, Hornswoggle and Zeb Coulter were altogether given up. She was also used in a storyline involving Rusev and Lana, but plans were scrapped when the couple's real-life engagement was reported. Young sustained an injury early this year and came back to the ring for WWE Live events, but never worked TV after.
