Watch Linkin Park's Previously Unaired Carpool Karaoke with Ken Jeong

Linkin Park's Carpool Karaoke drops online 'dedicated to the memory of Chester Bennington'

Chester Bennington’s last interview has dropped

Linkin Park have released their episode of Carpool Karaoke filmed less than a week before the death of their frontman Chester Bennington.

Before his death, Bennington, along with two members of the band, filmed an episode of Apple Music's Carpool Karaoke. The episode was posted with the blessing of the family of Chester Bennington and serves as a tribute to the late front man while also highlighting the One More Light Fund that the band set up in honor of Bennington.

In the video, Bennington and his band laughed and sung along with comedian Ken Jeong.

Over the course of the episode, the vehicle joyously sings Outkast's "Hey Ya", Linkin Park's "Numb", "In the End", "Talking to Myself" and Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Under the Bridge". Bennington says at one point during a sing-along to the band's song "In the End".

"We will approach it in whichever manner his family or the people that were involved in that episode, however they would like it to be handled".

Watching it is a unusual, uncomfortable experience, Chester's beaming smile and easy banter with comedian Ken Jeong bringing little joy as we can't help but consider the weight of the burden he was carrying with him.

Bennington committed suicide on July 20 (US Time).

Bennington died on July 20 at the age of 41. When he was asked if he wanted his kids to pursue music, Bennington said, "For me, I just want my kids to find something they're passionate about".

Talinda, who was married to Bennington for 12 years, shared a video on Twitter in September of her late husband laughing with his family.

The full episode can be streamed on Linkin Park's Facebook page.
