The Brazil international's wish was not granted and he remains a Liverpool player, but Barcelona are set to reignite their attempts to sign the former Inter Milan starlet with club chief Oscar Grau saying earlier this week that the Blaugrana are now "prepared" to sign Coutinho.

"Maybe if they had been offered that money in June, they could have said "give us two weeks, keep it quiet" and we'll sell him to you".
"But will they convince Liverpool?".

The Senegal global has earned plenty of praise for his strong performances for the Reds since signing for Jurgen Klopp's team from Southampton last summer.
