Meanwhile, by the second of sweeping operations at the Dera headquarters, an unregistered luxury vehicle, computer hard disk drives, an OB van, unlabelled medicines and demonetized notes worth thousands were recovered.
Officials said that five children were found inside the Dera premises in the search which will continue on Saturday.
So far, the police have not been able to find the primary spot from where the Dera chief conducted his "illegal activities".
The Haryana police had earlier said that it was in touch with its counterparts in other states and was hopeful that Honeypreet and Aditya Insan, another key aide of the Dera head, would soon be found.
Court Commissioner Pawar arrived in Sirsa yesterday and held a meeting with top officials of the civil and police administration, including the paramilitary, to take stock of the situation before the start of the process.
The news of this fresh investigation against the Dera comes on the day the sect's headquarters in Sirsa, Haryana, was searched and sanitised.
Ram Rahim was convicted by a CBI court in Panchkula town adjoining Chandigarh on August 25 for the rape of two female disciples in 1999. A source said the entire dera premises will be divided into five sectors for the goal of searches, each under control of an SP-rank officer. Duty magistrates were appointed for various zones of the Dera.
A fiber tunnel too has been located during the search of the dera.
The security agencies spotted a false wall in Ram Rahim's huge pink-coloured residence, which was torn down, and that subsequently led to a tunnel that extended to the women's hostel. In order to avoid the spread of rumours and misinformation as well as to prevent any disturbance in public order due to the "Sanitisation" operation underway in the Dera premises, mobile internet services have been suspended in Sirsa district.
The sprawling Dera headquarters houses a stadium, hospital, educational institutions, a resort, houses, markets, and other infrastructure. Haryana government spokesman Satish Mishra said a case had been registered against the Dera management on this count. The campus, where the sect chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh lived, known as the "gufa" (cave), is itself spread in an area of almost 100 acres. Dera followers have been donating bodies of their kin to many colleges.
